A Guide For Prayer
A GUIDE FOR PRAYER:
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

GIVE PRAISE TO GOD FOR WHO GOD IS AND WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN CHRIST!
Psalm 113:1   Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD! 2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! 3From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!
Psa. 135:1 Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD, give praise, O servants of the LORD, 2who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God! 3Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good….

MAKE CONFESSION –
Nehemiah. 1:5 … “O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for (your people), your servants, confessing the sins of (your people), which we have sinned against you.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

PRAY THAT WE WOULD BE FAITHFUL AND TRUE TO JESUS CHRIST AS SON OF GOD, LORD AND SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, OUR ROCK AND OUR REDEEMER:
Psalm 78:35 They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.
Ephesians 5:23 …Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP OF STONY HILLS, EVEN THE DENOMINATION! - THAT THERE WOULD BE UNITY, FAITHFULNESS, PURITY, AND HOLINESS.
1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Colossians 2:6-8 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

PRAY FOR HOLY SPIRIT’S INTERCEDING, EMPOWERING AND COUNSEL!
Ephesians 3:16-19 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

PRAY THAT WE WOULD NOT SHRINK FROM GOING INTO ALL THE WORLD, EVEN IF IT KILLS US, BUT ONLY THAT WE WOULD BE PROTECTED FROM EVIL AND TEMPTATION.
2Thessalonians 3:1-3 Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
Matt. 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
John 17:15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.

THANKSGIVING & LIFTING UP OTHERS IN THE CHURCH – INCLUDING YOUR LEADERS -
Eph 1:16-20 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,
Phil. 1:3   I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 7 It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace,
1Th. 1:2   We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, 3 remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philemon 1:6 I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

PRAY THAT GOD ALONE WOULD BE GLORIFIED!
IN OUR WORSHIP, OUR DISCIPLESHIP, OUR WITNESS, AND OUR PLANS AND DECISIONS

2Thessalonians 1:11-12 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
 Ephesians 3:20-21Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

We Celebrate God In Worship

Sunday Mornings - 9:00 am
Nursery care is available for infants & toddlers up to 2 years.

September thru May

After the Children's Blessing, we invite children in grades 5K  through 5th to attend Sunday School with our Bible Discovery Zone program while those in grades 6-8 participate in THE GATE. 

 
FROGS
 
(formerly known as Little Lambs) is now in session on Sunday mornings!  For our 3 and 4 year olds.  
 

 

 

 ~ Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month, and is open to all baptized Christians.
~ Baptism is celebrated as a part of the worship service so the congregation shares in the joy!
